About The Portrait
Mona Lisa is a one of most visited ,written and wonderful painting in the world .It was drawn by Leonardo da Vinci at the period between ( 1503-1507 ) 4 years and as by Leonardo da Vinci it was considered to be incomplete ,then he took another 3 years to complete it ,totally he took 7 years to complete it . The subject of the portrait is the portrait of Lisa " Gherardini wife of Francesco del Giocondo". The portrait was drawn using oil paint ,in a poplar wooden panel ,which is a soft wood and during 15th century these poplar wood was used to draw such portraits and art works . Hence , it was soft and ease to cut and it was generally found in the Lombardy , Region of Italy .

Mono Lisa Painting was one of the most artistic portrait ,drawn by Leonardo da Vinci .And it was added in the collection of court of France ,and kept in the since 1797.

painting and it shows the skilled work of the artist Leonardo da Vinci .The skills and techniques used in Mono Lisa were the sfumato ( use of fine shades ) in the face ,
the deep realistic skin texture , aesthetic curves of the hair and the practical fingers shows the patience of Leonardo da Vinci in spite of making the most beautiful painting .

In the recent research at 2005 , Dutch researchers found the feel of the portrait by using a emotion recognition software and computer algorithms .The result was found that , the portrait feels like 83% happy , 6% fearful , 9% disgusted , 2% both angry and happy and lees than 1% neutral .
It was surprising that one portrait consist of these much feelings .
